Welcome to Year 5 Home Learning
Have you read...?
Roller Girl by Victoria Jamieson
This book is a graphic novel, meaning it is written in a cartoon-comic style instead of your traditional ‘only words on a page’ book. It explores the determination of the main character to learn and develop her skills in a new sport that she loves. Alongside this, there are challenges that she must face in order to become a successful roller derby player, but she will need her friends to help her. An exciting graphic novel that certainly twists and turns as quick as a pair of roller boots.

On Friday, we handed out the Remember It paper we usually have a go at after completing the unit. However, due to the current circumstances we felt it could act as a guide to the maths we would have been working on in school. Feel free to have a go.
